May 21, 2001, Fairfax, Virginia -- Nextira Federal LLC is a vibrant
new company created from the consolidation of TimePlex Federal Systems
and the federal services division of Nextira LLC, formerly known as
Williams Communications Solutions, LLC (WCS), two established providers
of communications solutions to the federal marketplace. The new entity
provides converged voice and data solutions to the civilian and defense
agencies of the federal government and offers the benefits of more
than 30 years of experience in mission-critical communications networking
within the government sector.
Platinum Equity, which recently acquired Nextira, is a multi-billion
dollar organization specializing in the acquisition and operation
