Company adds sophisticated network managed services capabilities

HOUSTON - May 4, 2004 - To address current market dynamics and customer demand, NextiraOne, LLC, a Platinum Equity company, recently launched its ServiceSelectSM product. This new managed service solution sheds traditional "break/fix" support service offering constraints and offers customers cost-effective customized voice and data communications network support services. As a corollary to this launch, NextiraOne also has enhanced its Managed Services portfolio to include an expanded suite of managed security services and new application layer support and monitoring services.

ServiceSelect offers unparalleled choice and flexibility in communications support and management. Whether the network environment is voice, data or converged, ServiceSelect combines traditional break/fix support with a comprehensive suite of network management services. When selecting the applicable service package, customers receive "points" they can allocate to obtain services on a cafeteria-style menu of options. This enables them to mix and match the services within the choices that best suit the individual needs of their businesses.

Depending upon the specific network requirements and the support services plan the customer chooses, ServiceSelect points can be applied toward a host of options. Customers benefit from the various available combinations of repair items, including on-site systems support, proactive network management and remote diagnostic services. For example, customers typically can select available options that utilize the support of NextiraOne's Network Operations Center in Houston, regardless of their location. Further, customers with sophisticated needs may choose to build upon the foundation of ServiceSelect by adding critical security, alarm features and other vital network solutions.
